The Fenwick Island Lighthouse is a great place to soak in the history of the surrounding area. This lighthouse has guided vessels into Delaware since 1858. Officially decommissioned in 1978, a symbolic light now burns in the 87’ tower, which is lovingly cared for by the New Friends of the Fenwick Island Lighthouse. Visitors can explore the landmark’s historic museum and snap an Instagram-worthy photo in front of the brick tower.
