Tips from locals
If you're headed to Seward Park, pop into the Audubon Center. They have some interesting displays and, sometimes, activities for kids.
We love to take our son to this park, it's beautiful and on Lake Washington. There is an old growth forest to take a relaxing stroll/hike. Borrow some binoculars from the center and go birding in the forest.
Seward Park boasts of 227 acres of old growth forest, hiking trails, a 2.4 mile walking/biking loop, eagles nests, fishing/swimming/boating, Audobon learning center and an adventure playground for the littles!
