This is our favorite place to cool off in the summer on the Rappahannock River. In the early summer tubing is possible from the Riverside Preserve to a put-out near the Fauquier Country Club. You can also do a shorter tubing adventure by hiking along the preserve and then floating back to your car. Parking is kind of limited here, so we generally try to get there early in the morning or go later in the afternoon. If you get there late, you just have to walk a ways to get to river access. Also, let us know if you would like to borrow some tubes.
