Second closest Green Line station. I walk to this station if I'm trying to go westbound on the Green Line and feel like enjoying a walk through the Public Garden along the way. Park Street station is a little bit closer but requires walking over the hill, and adds two more stops to your trip. If you'd like to minimize your walk just take the Red Line from Charles/MGH and transfer to the Green Line at Park Street.
