Why locals recommend it
This up-and-coming pastry chef opened a pâtisserie-café in the 10th arrondissement that you want to hang out in while you enjoy your treats. There’s a laid-back vibe, often hip-hop playing on the sound system—very simple but welcoming. I love the chocolate and lime-mint cakes and meringues, in addition to the made-to-order selections. Yann’s signature is a revision on mille-feuille, which is made to order. But he only makes 50 a day, so plan accordingly.

Tips from locals
One of the best pastry in Paris. Yann Couvreur was the head pastry chef of the hotel Prince de Galles.
Pastry my dear - world-class cakes, croissants, macarons, etc - there is a reason for the long queue!
