Beautiful long and sandy beach. Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. There is a lazy river effect in the summer when the tide goes out down the river and into the ocean.
Perkins Cove is a scenic seacoast harbor with sailing and deep-sea fishing tours, amazing restaurants, small boutiques, and a not-to-miss cliff walk that spans from the harbor to a gorgeous beach.
Ogunquit is a must visit when in the area. Browse the shops downtown and in Perkins Cove, stroll the Marginal Way and many great dining options. Ogunquit also has one of the most beautiful beaches ... our favorite. There is a river side where you can take a float as the tide comes in and out. And that loops around to the ocean side where you a splash in the waves or boogie board (ps. If you would like to grab a couple of floats, just ask). TIP: If you start your drive north on Route 1, take a right on Cape Neddick Road (right after Walkers Maine) and then a left on Short Road to take the coastal route to Ogunquit.
