Whether you want to walk or ride a bike, this railtrail will not disappoint you with its magical scenery. Pack a picnic and stop along way to enjoy nature at best.

This is the first (but hopefully not the last) Rail Trail in NSW. Its an easy day trip from Wagga and is well worth the effort. The surface is sealed so the riding is easy and suitable for mountain, commuter and road bikes. Its 22km (one way) with great views of snow capped mountains at the right time of the year. There are some great eateries at both ends of the trail. I would recommend starting at the Rosewood if you are riding in both directions as it finishes with an uphill (rail gradient) ride into Tumbarumba.
