In Washburn west end park on Lake Superior, great place with a beach and playground for kids , check out the artesian well with clean drinking water while there, has showers and campground

This is where our artesian well is, open to the public. Fill up your water bottles and jugs here. Let your dog wade into the water and enjoy a great beach and trail head for the Washburn Walking Trail. Leashed dogs welcome. Lots of little beach pull-offs along the trail.
