Right next door to the Beach Cottages. A must-see attraction ! The Seaside Seabird Sanctuary is a 1.5 acre wild bird sanctuary & rehabilitation center with over 100 birds.
This is a 1.5 acre wild bird sanctuary & rehabilitation center with over 100 birds on display including Pelicans, Owls, Hawks, Vultures, song birds, Shore birds, and parrots. Other features include gift shop, education center, observation tower overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, daily pelican hand-feeding and weekly screech owl demonstrations. Located on Gulf Blvd. in front of mile marker #13. Parking and admission are free. You can also access from the beach. Walk south on the beach to just past the first pier.

FREE admission. Rehabilitation center for birds. Come visit but I recommend wearing closed toe shoes, lots of bird droppings!
