Tips from locals
You will need a car to adventure up this FSR but it provides a great view of Golden and you may be in luck to watch a paraglider take off. This is also a fantastic spot for some downhill mountain biking.
Mount 7 is a mountain in the Canadian Rockies just southeast of Golden, British Columbia. It is named for the characteristic "7" formation visible in the snow near its peak, visible for several weeks around mid-June due to the melting pattern of snow and ice at its cap.
Check out the paragliders and hand gliders launch in the summer months, get an amazing view and some photos of the beautiful Columbia Valley with mountains in every direction. Hiking possible from here for moderate to advanced hikers.
