The English Garden in Munich is one of the largest inner city gardens in the world and was created over 200 years ago! Hidden here you will find many highlights that you can discover during a short walk. For example, the quaint and cozy beer garden at the Chinese Tower. Particularly famous, however, is the Eisbach wave, an artificial wave that stands all year round in the stream of the same name and is a popular destination for young people, swimmers and professional surfers together.

Only a few minutes to walk. One of the largest and important green parks in the middle of world cities
One of the biggest city parcs. Its most famous parts are in the south, near Prinzregentenstr.: surfing wave, nudist area and beergarten at Chinesischer Turm. Besides of that I would recommend to visit the natural, more calm and less touristic northern part (Stauwehr Oberföhring, St. Emmeramsmühle, Aumeister beergarten and Amphitheater)
great for a stroll, my favorite spot is reached by walking down the street that has McDonalds, from Muenchen freiheit station, you pass over a link of the Isar to reach the lake
