Knepp is a 3,500 acre estate just south of Horsham, West Sussex. Since 2001, the land – once intensively farmed - has been devoted to a pioneering rewilding project.
Interesting experiment in rewilding. Storks are nesting here. Take a walk around the estate. A 20 min drive from Rosebud Cottage.

A short 12 minute drive is Knepp castle and estate. There are 16 miles of public and permissive footpaths within the Knepp Rewilding project, which cover an area of 3,500 acres, and five tree viewing-platforms, close to public footpaths, offering wonderful panoramas of the surrounding countryside. There is also a bird-hide overlooking Knepp Lake.
