One of our favourite off leash dog parks featuring a huge park and paths down to the river.
Okay THIS is my favorite off-leash dog park but you don't need a dog to enjoy this HUGE natural park. It's about a 15 minute drive. Head north down Lorne and onto the freeway, take the first exhit to the right, go straight through downtown until you get to Queen Street, turn right and drive the whole length until you get to Spadina, turn left. Follow until you pass under an overpass, and turn sharp onto a side street that angles upwards. You will see the pedestrain bridge that traverses the river between the two freeways. This is the quick way to get to the Park, which is on the left after you cross this pedestrian bridge.

An excellent off-leash dog park with beautiful views of the river. DO NOT leave valuables in your vehicle. (From the townhouse, exit the complex and turn right, and then turn right onto Garvie Road. Take a left onto Central Avenue and then a right at the first set of lights onto the gravel road. Follow this road for approx. 2KM and it will lead you straight to the parking lot. )
