It is still free to enter the zoo there is playgrounds and pavilions and many out animals to see.
You can take a 10 mile ride to the zoo on a dedicated bike path that starts in N. Cape May. No chance of getting lost it is a straight shot on a smooth paved bike path mostly flat. There is a nice little zoo at the end. Bring a lunch or ask The Eat Well to pack one for you. Rip Tide will rent you the bikes. They will bring you a bike or if you want you can leave your car there The path passes right next to their shop. Did I mention there are Snow Leopards?

The Cape May County Zoo is truly amazing. It's one of the best zoos in the area (Philadelphia included!) and, best of all, it's FREE! It's open 364 days a year (closed Christmas Day)! There are more than 85 acres of beautifully maintained exhibits. With 200 different species of mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles and approximately 500 animals, you're sure to see something new!
