We are approximately 40 minutes drive from the track to walk to Sunrise Hut. The walk to this hut is one of the easiest in the Ruahine Forest Park.

if you want to stay overnight and get up to an amazing sunset this is your perfect setting. Amazing views and fairly easy trail and great photo opportunities.

A challenging hike up into the Ruahine ranges. Allow 4 hours and make sure the weather is going to be kind. A reasonable level of fitness is required
