Museum for ship building, shipping, fishing and marine archaeology where you can see exhibitions, boat models and marine paintings. The Norwegian Maritime Museum is located on the waterfront at Bygdøynes on Bygdøy peninsula. Norway's oldest boat, Stokkebåten, is also exhibited at the museum. The museum's supervideograph, a panorama film about the Norwegian coast, is normally screened every half hour. Library, museum shop and café.
