FC Víkingur, the sports club that residents of the neighbourhood support very dearly. The men and women's football teams compete in the top division - it plays out from April through September.

The bus stop "Víkin" is actually located up on Bústaðavegur. It is the best stop to get to down town Hlemmur and/or up town Mjódd in one go with bus nr. 11.
