This hidden gem is little-known to folks outside Upper Fells Point. Two rowhouses are conjoined to form Henninger's Tavern: one is an ancient bar loaded with bric-a-brac, and the other is a white tablecloth restaurant. Stop in for a cocktail or a fine dinner -- they excel at both.

Idiosyncratic and delicious food and drinks, with service to match. Someone with a decent arm could hit Henninger's with a baseball from this unit's front door.
