Tips from locals
13 miles North on Hwy 101, - Large off shore rock formations that provide habitat for seals, sea lions, sea birds and other marine life. Sandy beach, tide pools. A short trail down to the beach is steep in some areas, but there are viewing areas along the trail. There is a nice picnic area near the parking lot.
Low tide is a MUST. Check out our website to see some pictures taken in our 'backyard'
One of our favorite beaches. If you go at low tide, there are good tide pools with sea stars, mussels, urchins, and more. You can often see seals resting on the jagged rocks. Plenty of sea birds as well for the birding community.
