A great place to climb. Go to Macclesfield Forrest to start the walk and stop for lunch at the Leather Smithy pub.
2nd highest peak in Cheshire. Lovely and flat till you get to the end! Take your waterproofs boots if you’re going the boggy way from standing stone car park
Known by some as the Matterhorn of Cheshire. Although to be frank, that's probably by people who haven't seen the Matterhorn. It is lovely though, and will give your legs a fair workout. We suggest a short drive to Macclesfield Forest as your base camp for the summit.
