If you have the driving skills and an 4x4 or AWD you can get to the very top of this mountain range, on the San Andreas Fault, that over looks the San Joaquin valley. Pack a lunch or dinner and eat at one of the picnic tables at the top. It’s only about 15 minutes (UP) from the cabin. Go west on Mil Potrero Hwy and you’ll see the signs. Once off the paved road it’s a dirt road and Marian is 3 miles up.
