The Islamic Arts Museum is excellent and very accessible for non-Muslims who speak either Malay or English.. The collections are well set out, including by nationality. I found the Malaysian section of particular interest, but there were also good sections on Chinese and Indian Muslims. The museum shop is full of quality items and well worth a visit. You can spent a good 2-3 hours here. It is then an easy 15 min walk to the Botanic Gardens afterwards.
