Kinnickinnic State Park is a 1,242-acre Wisconsin state park in which the Kinnickinnic River joins the St. Croix River. The park is open year-round from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Vehicle admission WI plates $8/day; out of state plates $11/day. There are two sections to the Kinnickinnic State Park; the "developed" side just north (2 mile drive) with hiking trails, scenic views, picnic areas, and a sandy swimming area on the St. Croix River. This area is marked by buoys, no lifeguard on duty. The second "undeveloped" is right in your backyard. Feel free to explore the "Devil's Kitchen" or "Punchbowl", a true hidden gem; the trail meanders through the woods to this wonder of nature.
