“Loved it. Beautiful tranquil place. Easy to medium hike. I went early morning so not a lot of people, but later got a little busier.” 12 mins away (5.1miles)
This is my favorite hike in the area. It's a nice and pretty hike. Trees and shade for a majority of the hike and you do have to cross over water quite a bit, but I love that part about it. Just wear the appropriate shoes for it. Usually I start around 6am and there aren't many people out there at that time.
PERFECT trail for a hot day because it's very shaded throughout! it's also the ideal trail if you want to go trail running on a relatively flat path (the only real incline is at the start which you will walk/run back up at the end) The scenery since is very green and there is water. There are lots of stream crossings, so be careful not to get wet!
