Wat Temple hosts an outdoor market and the big draw is the prepared food, including papaya salad, curry dishes, noodle soup and egg rolls. The lines begin to form at about 8:30 a.m. when people fill up their plates and head to the picnic tables under the trees. It’s open until 1 p.m. but those who arrive past 12:30 p.m. won’t have their choice of all the food. When the food runs out, it’s gone. It’s cash-only and a good place to chat with locals about their favorite eco-friendly attractions in the area.

This is a Sunday morning Thai food extravaganza! This is a Thai Buddhist temple fundraiser that happens every weekend, rain or shine. Get there early, split up, and get in different food lines and grab a bench under the oak trees. Pho is always the longest line, so make sure you have someone heading there for sure. After brunch, browse the plant and veggie market.

Come here for their Sunday market where all kinds of foods are offered including soups, summer rolls, coconut tea, fried bananas and lots of other foods. This site is situated on the river as a great picnic spot and after eating you can check out the Thai temple. This location is only available on Sunday. Arrive before 9:30AM for the best chance at getting the choice food selections before it runs out.
