Tips from locals
Great view of Stockton beach and dunes. Whale watching while having a coffee or breakfast at the surf club cafe “Crest”. Camel riding adventures. Sand boarding on Stockton dunes.
An expansive, patrolled beach that is the gateway to the Worimi Conservation Lands. Plenty of places to explore, including a great cafe, The Crest. Look out for camels on the beach!
At the northern end of Stockton Beach (the second longest golden sand beach in the world) is Birubi. It is a wild ocean beach and extends 32km south through the Worimi Conservation Lands to Newcastle. Enjoy dune surfing, camel rides, quad bike tours or a dicilous coffee and meal at the cafe.
