Tips from locals
2-3 hr bush walk along harbour. Moderate difficulty. Beautiful views. Park Nth Side of Spit Bridge (cheaper) and get bus back from Manly once finished.
Take a bus, get off at the spit bridge for a 10km coastal walk to Manly Beach. Bring your swimmers as there are plenty of small beaches to accessible by foot or from the water only along the way. Once you're in Manly, you can take the scenic route home by the ferry back to Circular Quay.
Weaving through a mix of lush bushland and scenic harbour side trail this is one of Sydney's most spectacular walks. No shortage of places to stop off for a coffee or a quick dip along the way. Don't forget to keep an eye out for Dolphins and whales. The walk start at the bottom of The Spit, Fisher Bay walk.
