Agatunet is an nature and historic museum located on the west side of Sørfjorden. The yard consists of a cluster of about 30 listed buildings. Most of the buildings here are from 1811-1850, but some of the buildings are much older. The oldest house is lagmannstova. This log house was built around 1250 by the lawman Sigurd Brynjolfson, who was one of the advisers to King Erik Magnusson.
