Tips from locals
This is a rail to trail that covers gorgeous territory in Idaho & Montana. Paved trail, tunnels, bridges. Bring your own bike or rent. Also great for walking, birding & trail running.
Just a short drive away you can bike the Hiawatha Trail!. One of the tunnels is 1 mile long in complete darkness… They do have bikes to rent and it is a summer and fall time favorite thing to do.
What a Jewel to have in our back yard - great ride through old rail tunnels and over old rail trestles - easy ride for all ages.
