Great hike for the whole family. Mostly flat trail, and what a treat to see the falls!
Cherry Creek Falls Trail takes you up a mostly gentle rise through mature forest, along Cherry Creek, and eventually to a lovely swimming hole with a delightful waterfall. Perfect place for a picnic on a hot summer day. This trail is great for hiking and trail running. Parking at the trailhead can get crowded.
Cherry Creek Falls, located just east of Duvall, is a hidden gem. Hike beneath amazing old-growth trees to a beautiful 25-foot waterfall. The trail is relatively flat and approximately five miles round-trip. A special feature here is that spawning salmon actually make it all the way up the creek to the falls. The Falls are a great spot to stop for a snack, kick off your shoes, and spend some time wading and splashing in the pool below the falls. Parking for the trail head is along the street - please be considerate to avoid obstructing driveways and visibility. Distance from New Morning farms: Less than 10 minutes
