David R. Francis Quadrangle is the historical center of the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Known as The Quad it is the oldest part of Red Campus and adjacent to Downtown Columbia at the south end of the Avenue of the Columns.
Take a little visit to Mizzou and see the iconic columns! Nice little park areas close by and it's a short walk to Shakespeare's for pizza and Sparky's for ice cream!
A stop by Mizzou Campus is always a pleasant time! You can walk around the Francis Quadrangle (a beautiful, historic section of the campus) and then explore downtown, as well. There are many dessert shops, book stores, restaurants, and bars down town that a short walk from the Quadrangle that are enjoyable any time of year. I will include a few of my favorite attractions later on in the guidebook.
