Gorgeous beachside location with a jetty that has a few Seal locals putting on a show at night. Beautiful white safe swimming beaches through summer shouldn't be missed. Night time strolls between the Semaphore Jetty and Largs Bay Jetty are a must! Many cafes and restuarants of countless cuisines line Semaphore Road leading up to the Jetty. Don't forget the Semaphore Mini Train its well worth a trip for all ages! :)

In summer this transforms to sideshow alley with games and rides. Ride the old carousel. Walk Semaphore road and see quirky shops and cafes.
A scenic drive along the esplanade from North Haven will take you to historic Semaphore, home to the iconic Palais and many other historic buildings including the Odeon Theater, Timeball Tower and ‘old salt’ pubs. For the history buffs, we recommend downloading the Semaphore SA Historical Walking Tour App [Google Play] for a tour of the coast and town centre. Whilst in Semaphore you may like to grab a bite to eat at one of the many cafes, restaurants or pubs, do a spot of shopping, or take a ride on the vintage carousel (the oldest working carousel in the southern hemisphere) or steam train located at the large green foreshore. Annual events hosted at Semaphore include: • Summer Carnival (Summer school holidays) • Greek Festival (January) • Kite Festival- Australia’s largest kite festival (Easter) • Music Festival (October long weekend) • Semaphore Street Fair (last Sunday in November)
