Personally, Brera is my favourite neighbourhood in the city. Historically regarded as the artists' quarter, nowadays you can get lost along its magical pedestrian-only cobblestone streets, relax with a refreshing Spritz in the terrace of some old-fashioned bar and, last but not least, visit the Pinacoteca di Brera- both a famous museum and an art school.

Brera is historically the artist neighbourhood of Milan as it hosts the fine art academy and pinacoteca. Great for shopping and having a glass of wine on one of the terraces of the quaint pedestrian streets.
