This is a typical and authentic Costa Rican experience that you simply shouldn't miss. Unfortunately, the restaurant is only open at the weekend, unless you book a group beforehand. Catch your own trout and they will cook it for you one of two ways. The traditional way is whole and tossed in season flour and deep fried until it is very crispy. Otherwise, they will fillet the trout and fry it on the 'plancha'. Served with French fires, salad and a fresh fruit juice. This is great value for money, delicious and lots of fun!

Truchero Los Cocolisos is a very nice place to visit as a family. You can do activities such as trout fishing which prepare you at the moment very fresh with salad, white rice, soda and French fries. The place is attended by Don Gonzalo Garita and his family.
