San Diego staple! HUGE portions, great food, drinks- a must while visiting SD. They don’t take reservations and there’s almost always a wait - try to avoid weekend mornings if you can- if you can’t, get there when it opens!

Hash House may be one of the best breakfast restaurants in the country. My favorite dishes there are the sage fried chicken benedict and the chicken and waffles tower, but the entire menu is truly inspired.
