Barmah National Park, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world. Whether your into fishing, horse riding or bushwalking, swimming or canoeing, the forests and waterways of the park provide abundant opportunities for endless fun in the great outdoors. The park is located adjacent to the Murray River near the town of Barmah. The trees can grow up to 45 metres and some of them are up to 500 years old. See bird life, ancient indigenous sites on local walking trails, including the Yamyabuc Discovery Trail, the Lakes Loop Track and the Broken Creek Loop Track.
