Small Art Deco venue showing films and hosts some lovely intimate artists and comedians, travel back in time for a taste of how cinema used to be.
Originally built in 1917 and Grade II-listed - hailed as one of the best miniature examples of the “super cinemas” of the 1930s and boasts a three-sided Italian mural decoration around three sides of its interior walls. The programme includes theatrical productions (panto too), live broadcasts of National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare and Royal Opera House productions.
