A nice beach (but out least favourite, but we are spoilt for choice!). Has the benefit of having lots of child-friendly cafes very close by. Rosie's does lovely pizza and ice cream!
The other side of Bude, with some lovely cafe's and a good base for those coastal walks
Just one of many beaches in the area, all manned by Lifeguards from Easter through to September (also October half term weeks) great for surfing and swimming . Other beaches in the area include Bude, Summerleaze Beach next door to the South and Widemouth Bay, 2 miles to the South then Northcott Mouth Beach and Sandymouth beaches to the North) At low tide you walk walk from Summerleaze Beach all the way to Sandymouth then loop back along the SW coast path along the cliff land above)

This is our local beach. It's a short walk, and normally has lifeguard cover. You can use this beach as a launch for the coastal path to the North. When the tide is low, you can walk along the beach northwards to Northcott.
