Hhe magnificent sight that is the Clava Viaduct. Built by the Highland Railway and opened in 1898, at 549 metres and with 29 spans, it is the longest masonry viaduct in Scotland. Also known as the Nairn Viaduct, as it spans the River Nairn near Clava, is roughly 6 miles from Inverness and remains in regular use for passenger traffic to this day.
