This is truly our local store, and we go there all the time. We just refer to it as "The Shop". It is two doors from the Annexe, and offers a remarkable range of goods for a local store, including fresh and dry foods, as well as cards and gifts, and a good selection of beers and wines. A recent guest made this comment: "Just two or three doors down is a lovely “corner” shop, where I dashed hoping to maybe find some eggs. Instead I found a giant basket of freshly baked croissants and great wines, beers from the local brewery and gifts and loads of foods!"

If you can’t find what you’re looking for in this friendly, high quality local shop then I’ll be surprised. For its size it offer great choice and lots of locally sourced items. You can even grab a paper, coffee, scone and local souvenirs. Great for a quick shop and open sensible hours.

More than a convenience store! Just round the corner for great conversation, fabulous local produce (don't miss the rocky road on the counter) including local beer.
