Gallery "Rayko Alexiev" is located at "Rakovski" 125 Str. and has 330 square meters exhibition area. It is build by the initiative of the Union of the Associations of the Artists in Bulgaria and even then it was conceived as a gallery. There the first Group Artistic Exhibition was opened in 1940, which in fact was the 13th for the Union. With the establishment of the Union of Artists in Bulgaria in 1944, renamed in 1959 into the Union of Bulgarian Artists, Gallery "Rayko Alexiev" became one of the main exhibition halls of the Union. Today the gallery joins one of the most popular exhibition areas in Sofia where you can exhibit contemporary art.
