If you enjoy thrift shopping or flea markets or up-cycling, this place is a MUST SEE. See their website for drop in classes. It is HUGE!! and WONDERFUL.
There's nothing quite like this place! it is a non-profit that diverts all sorts of materials from our landfills by putting them in the hands of artists, craftspeople and educators where they are up-cycled into infinity and beyond! There is both a retail store and workshop space.
Reconsidered Goods is the most fantastic place to find up-cycled and repurposed ANYTHING! It's our first shopping stop for any and all occasions. RG has plenty of maker space and fun classes and events.
My absolute fave place in Greensboro. Friend and neighbor, Paige Cox operates a nonprofit Enormous shop that companies and people donate goods, in order to reduce waste while also giving new homes to everything that you’d ever want to purchase: craft items, frames, material, tripods, hats, toys, medical supplies. I could go on. So much fun. And Kids love this place.
