Tips from locals
Slightly less evasive from Badger but a good workout. Enjoyable for smaller children with local foliage labels and multiple paths to the same destination - a fun time to explore and be king or queen of the world!
Yet another hiking trail providing excellent views of the Tricities and surrounding area.
The flat surface level loop trail is 1.2 miles (1.9 km) and contains info displays about the Ice Age floods which shaped the landscape of the Tri-Cities. The 3.6 mile loop climbs 555 feet to the mountain’s summit. From this vantage point you can see the entire Hanford Site, the secret city of Richland and the rest of the Tri-Cities.
Need to burn a few calories? Relieve some stress Candy Mountain had beautiful views of the farm land and the city. Great way to start the day with Sunrise or end it with Sunset.
