Located in what used to be an industrial sector, the Ciudad del Río Linear Park is an urban and environmental landmark in the south of the city, created as a result of citizen initiatives and made up of around 60 thousand square meters of a green area surrounded by residential buildings. Over time it has become an ideal space for meeting, leisure and culture, and it is common to see there parents playing with their young children, picnics with friends or people practicing outdoor sports. This park is also a neighbor of the MAMM (Museum of Modern Art of Medellín), so it is common to see artistic and cultural activities taking place in its different spaces.

The Ciudad Del Río Park is a space within the city of Medellín, perfect for picnics, enjoying sitting on the grass, practicing outdoor sports. The park is located in the same area, as the Museum of Modern Art of Medellín (MAMM) where different exhibitions, meetings and events are held. The Ciudad del Río Park has a tree-lined area where you can enjoy nature and pedestrian paths. It is visited regularly by many people who celebrate birthdays, families and friends who meet there, it also has a space to practice skateboarding.
