Tips from locals
The Alcazar is originally a military fortress from the roman period which has since been occupied and remodelled by muslim and christian conquerors. It was here where Ferdinand and Isabelle received Christopher Colombus with his proposal which ultimately led to the discovery of America by christian Europe.
Old castle where islamic and christian governors use to live. Inside there is a remarkable roman mosaic. Sometimes it holds concerts or water spectacles or even weddings.
Monumento que merece la pena pasear por sus jardines. El edificio también es interesante por los mosaicos que se encuentran en su interior pero prácticamente no tiene mobiliario.
