Closest beach 5 minutes down the road, Seapoint is a small, natural cove with no amenities, please take note of parking for non-residents (further away from beach). They do ticket if you park in wrong place! Seapoint Beach, like the town itself, is a tough little spot. The flies are likely to be the first thing you notice. In early summer, greenheads can carry a large bite of flesh away, and flies swarm in a dizzying fog among the seaweed. Seaweed is clumped on the beach in thick bundles that resemble raked leaves. There are a lot of seagulls, and there are a lot of rocks, too. It's rustic and primal, which makes it ideal for an off-season or after-hours summer stroll. Nice vista, which is mostly an open panorama of the azure Atlantic. Between the pebbly low tide area and the dunes, there is a short belt of white sand. Getting to Seapoint along Route 103 is a lovely drive or bike ride in and of itself, and well worth the effort.

Wonderful for dogs (before 10 AM and after 5 PM) and families. Parking is not a problem, and is available in small lots at the side of the road as you get close to the beach - permit parking is required right at the beach.

Very pretty ocean views on a walk across the mixed and sandy beach then through the dunes to the other side of the point. Dogs allowed.

This is a local Kittery beach that is nice for walks. Some areas have a lot of seaweed, but it’s a beautiful beach and not very crowded. Note that there is limited parking for non-Kittery residents and police will ticket if you’re parked in a Kittery resident marked spot.

Our favorite beach; nice walk out to a point of land with spectacular views of the Maine and New Hampshire coast. Dogs allowed in summer before 10 AM and after 5 PM. Parking for non-residents is the first lot on the road leading to the beach. Pay attention to the signs (so you don't get a parking ticket). Carry in - carry out! No bathroom facilities.
