Well worth the entrance fee. Get up close and personal with spectacular ulyssees butterfly and others, learn about habitat, feeding and breeding. Great experience.

This is the largest butterfly free-flight aviary in the Southern Hemisphere; it is home to more than 2000 butterflies. The butterflies are bred in the sanctuary's laboratory and include a wide range of Australian species like the local rainforest butterflies including electric blue Ulysses yellow and majestic green Cairns Bird wing and the Monarch butterfly.
