Tips from locals
a 2.7 mile trail on a raised railroad bed, connecting several neighborhoods and city parks. Good for walking, jogging, rollerblading, biking, flying - okay, not flying, but nice views of several areas.
Once an abandoned rail line, the Bloomingdale Trail - known to locals as The 606 - is a 2.7 mile elevated trail reminiscent of New York's High Line. The 606 serves as a transportation corridor, a living work of art, and a spectacular new green space for all to enjoy.
Amazing running/biking/running trail on an old elevated train line. Great way to walk off a hangover with a coffee.
