Just at the other end of the village and a walkable distance from Still Point, the Donkey Sanctuary is well worth a visit. Founded in the 1960s by Dr Elisabeth Svendsen MBE it has been home to over 20,000 donkeys who are cherished and looked after at this wonderful working farm site. Outdoor play area, maze and a great restaurant aswell.
Well known charity. Good place for kids as well as older folk. Scenic location, good café.
Lovely free venue with adorable donkeys by the bucket full. Adequate tea room / restaurant. Walk down to the beach is a trek but beach is deserted if you can bear the hike. Hike back is tough.
Open 365 days of the year! Dog friendly, FREE entry, fabulous walks, amazing restaurant and breath-taking views of the sea along with 100's of very cute donkeys! The perfect day out.
