A little gem of a museum run by enthusiasts. It has an amazing collection of pen related ephemera! The museum tells the story of how modern pens have evolved. You can even make your own pen nib using traditional machinery. It is situated in an old pen factory building within the famous Jewellery Quarter area.
The Pen Museum, or Pen Room, is housed in a Grade II Listed redbrick building, on the corner of Legge Lane and Frederick Street. During a visit here you will be able to make your own pen nib and try out feather quills, reed pens, early typewriters and braille equipment.
